Effect suggestions are my suggestions for the home player, and or what I actually used.  Usually suggestions are geared for a low budget. 
I purposely use effects and equipment that I know everyone can afford and get their hands on in an effort to prove that you can get a great sound
without mortgaging your house...  There's no magic or tricks..  The sound you hear on the mp3 was gotten with the equipment and settings detailed
